So much for having my free flu jab ... I got the flu!!! Almost back to normal now just a nagging cough lurking around.
Still no word on my job application yet, they're taking a while.
Weighin on Wednesday brought a 700g loss. I'm picking my brains to find a strategy to get below the 100kg mark. This one is so physcological for me and I'm not sure why. I keep bouncing around that mark and just can't quite get under it. A big part is that I still feel like I have such a long way to go. Remembering back to when I did Jenny Craig nearly 20yrs ago my start weight was exactly 100kg ... that was JUST my START WEIGHT!!! And here I am 20yrs later still at 100kg!!
With some of my friends stopping blogging I've lost my accountability or more importantly that comrardery, the hype that builds eachother up to get through those tough moments. I really need to sort something out here. The local ww meeting closed down months ago and I don't want to go to SureSlim (too expensive for me). And I get so busy, time is an issue.
I'll have to keep thinking on this one. But for this week I've had my first two days OP so that's a good start.

Blog land has gone very quiet. We seemed to have had a great little network but not many of them updating.
I know you can break the 100k! Just keep at it, it will happen!!
You can break the 100 girl, I know you can! Starting looking very closely at what your eating, and "clean" it up, it sure helped me, get over the hump!
And yes, this time of year its amazing just how quiet it gets out here in blog land, especially weight loss blog land, when all the new years resolutions have worn off!
Piece of cake mate - Refocus and start looking at 95kg as a goal as 100kg will be over and done with next weigh in.
I have fallen off the wagon since stopping WW but just couldn't afford it and felt "I knew it all" hahahahaha, I don't think I'll ever know it all.
When I first went to Jenny Craig (1989) I weighed 78.2kgs and thought I was a fat cow LOL oh to be 78.2kg now. At least your still the same weight after 20 years, I'm nearly 20kgs BIGGER argh!

yep, you can do it Lyn. Look how far you have come already, and what you have achieved. Baby steps girl, set a few mini-goals and go for it...you'll do it!!

I highly recommend simple calorie counting. There are site like sparkpeople that are free for logging calories. But if you need a more structured program that might not work for you. EVeryone is different...

You can break the 100 kilo mark, I know you can do it. You can always join the weight watchers unlimited program via the website, track and get information that way. You can also be accountable there too or here. Just a thought, its about $60 per month or $13.95 per week, cheaper than going to meetings.
How about doing a little challenge with me. Shall we do a 10,000 steps a day and keep each other honest. At the least it will get our energy levels up and gain us some bonus points. Get that motivation going.
That 100 kg is so close. You can do it. It fact I reckon you will blitz it.
Go hunt out your pedometer.
Ask at your local hospital if there is a local slimmers club. A lot of hospitals are trying to start these things in their communities these days.
That's how i found my slimmers club. I'd never have known about it otherwise.
If there isn't one, maybe you could start one :o)

It is hard to keep on track without intense support but you have come so far, I know it's only a matter of time before you break the 100kgs mark.

oh my gosh! You are doing so well! I am so jealous! You will kick 100 and i think looking at 95 is a heaps good idea!
Psychological barriers suck don't they? You'll get there mate - you have the determination, knowledge and motivation to achieve that and any other goal you focus on.
I haven't been reading much of late and have missed writing in my own blog and reading others but i'm back to play my part in spurring you on to success :-)

As for the flu jab, never believed in it. Every year most people I know that get the flu jab end up with the flu.
