I did really well eating all day yesterday. Then a friend came over for a surprise visit and offered me a magnum. I absolutely love magnums and couldn't say no. Wasn't her fault because if I had of said no she would have respected that I know. I just wasn't strong enough .... I annoy myself like that sometimes. I'm really good and only having good food in the house but as soon as I come face to face with some temptation so evil voice takes over and tells me to have it!! lol
Bill is away for the weekend so it's just me and the kids. He's running the round the lake run in Taupo. 200 and something kms!! But he's doing it in a team of which is part is 12kms but he ran it at 2am this morning!! What a time to be running lol ... glad it's him and not me ... I need my sleep! He'll be home again tommorow morning so will be interesting to see how he went as he did absolutely no training for it. Crazy!!!
Chino was meowing to go out again late last night so let him out and left the door slightly open for him to come back in but he didn't arrive back again .... grrrrr!! I'm not upset this time ... just MAD!! Stupid cat!! He'll probably turn up sometime today. This roaming thing is really starting to annoy me. If anyone knows a magic trick to stop a cat roaming please let me know. Bout ready to chain him up lol.
Furniture still hasn't arrived from Farmers ... starting to get really annoyed about that too. They just keep fobbing me off each time I ring. Tried to speak to the manager yesterday but was told she wasn't in that day. What store doesn't have a manager on?? even a stand in one?? Bill's store always has someone who is in charge even on his days off. I'm starting to get really pissed with this one. I've been told they will ring me to let me know what's going on today ... but who knows ... if they get round to it!!
For those of you trying to get into Lynda's site ... she is having a few problems updating. Geocities looks like it's handing out stress again lol. She'll update as soon as she can.
Not much else happening today ... boring life that I live!

He's back
My prayers have been answered. Chino turned up this morning at 1.30am!! Who knows where he got to but just happy he's home.
I think I freaked because 4yrs ago I had a cat disappear and he never turned up again... just vanashed
happy to say he is soundly asleep on my lap
So back to another focussed eating day. Even with all my stress yesterday I didn't do too badly ... just had 2 hot cross buns over the day but nothing else bad.

My baby has gone :((
I'm typing this with tears in my eyes. My darling little Chino has gone missing, my 8mth old Seal Burmese (theres a picture of him in my photo album). The last time I saw him was last night an hour before I went to bed. Gave him a big cuddle while he went to sleep on my lap. Then he must have gone outside and I haven't seen him since. It's not like him to be away for this long. He's normally under my feel all day long... my shadow companion following me round all day like a puppy dog. I can't believe he's not here. I keep looking out the window expecting him to walk around the corner ... but nothing. I'm so upset I just can't stop crying. Keep telling myself to pull it together ... he's just a cat but he is such a part of the family ... he's my baby!!
Im just hoping and praying he turns up but I'm not getting my hopes up. In the week we have been here he hasn't wandered at all, choosing to stay near me. So I can't imagine that he's gone exploring ... just not like him. He's such an indoors cat.
I really can't concentrate on anything today.
I'll keep you posted but it doesn't look good

shock horror!!!
I'm very embarrased to say I had a 2.4kg loss at weighin tonight!! After all my 'woe is me' carry on earlier today ... lol
I really wasn't expecting that sort of loss. (over a two week period tho) I jumped on my home scales just before I left and thought it was playing horrible tricks on me when it showed a few kilos loss, but this was confirmed at ww weighin. WOW!!
This brings me to a huge goal of 30kg loss now. Boy it seems so long since I've reached any mini goals. 30.9kg total loss in all. Yay!!
This afternoon a mother of a girl that goes to school with my daughter made a comment on how much weight I had lost. She said I looked really good. Love moments like that! :))
Then tonight I walked into my ww meeting and my leader came running up to me to say how absolutely wonderful I looked. Both her and the other weigher said they noticed a real difference (especially in my face) since I left in August last year. I really didn't think I had changed that much but just goes to show that we don't always see ourselves accurately.
Bill and I are celebrating tonight with KFC. I know it's not good to celebrate with food but it's been so long since I've had KFC and I think I deserve it.
I've put this loss down to all the physical energy exherted with the shift. I know I felt stuffed afterwards and it took me a few days to recover. I know I said I had been bad but after looking back at my week the only times I slipped up was on my night of drinking (which probably only totalled 4 or 5 drinks ... cheap drunk I know), a few wines a couple of nights ago and the cheese on toast last night... overall not actually not alot of points over considering the exercise I have done. Funny how when we stuff up we think that's it I'm in for a gain even if the rest of the time we are really good. Leigh had a classic example of this scenario last week when she had one slip up but the rest of the time she was really good (with lots of exercise) and she had a great loss too!! Weigh to go girl!!!
Anyway that's enough chat ... I'm off to eat my KFC (don't worry I won't go overboard) and then it's into my next successful week!! wahooo!! This is just the boost I needed to kickstart my motivation again.

weighin tonight ... uh oh
Weigh in tonight!! Can't say I'm looking forward to the news the scales have for me but can't wait to see all my old ww'er friends!!
I'm ready to get 100% back on track tho. Did a shop today and am glad to report I did really good! All healthy low fat options with lots of fruit and veges. yay roll on next weeks weigh in!
Got really hungry last night (think TOM is nearly upon me again) and gave in to Camenbergh (sp) on toast (all 3 pieces). This was after dinner so can't say I really needed it ... nice as it was.
Haven't managed to get back to the gym yet. I'm waiting till Jordan starts kindy on the 1st March. Then it's just Jese to put in the creche (much cheaper) so I can concentrate on my workout.
Still loving our new home. Haven't found anything I don't like yet. Still waiting on our furniture from Farmers to arrive! Grrrrr ... their delivery times are shocking!!!
I'll update first thing tomorrow with my weigh in results. Hope it's not too bad. But with TOM nearly here and the fact that I'm going from morning weighins to evening weighin I can't expect any losses.

Getting bored ... trying not to eat
Not much more to tell today. I've been quite wicked on my eating. Too much celebrating! lol. Guess I'll have to wait for weighin on Wednesday to see the damage.
Finding I've been getting quite bored without business work to do. Think I'll have to take up some sort of hobby to keep my fingers out of the fridge. I did some photography at art school some 10yrs ago and really loved it. But have never had the time to get into it ... maybe nows my chance.
Ringing the curtain place today to find out some prices for curtains. That should be exciting.

We're here!!!
*NEW PHOTO OF THE FINISHED HOUSE IN THE PHOTO ALBUM*
(I'll try and get some one's done of the furniture inside too)
We are here!!! And I'm absolutely KNACKERED!!!! My feet hurt, my back hurts but hey who cares ... because we are in our very own house!!!! Wahoooo!!!
For the first two days I kept pinching myself. It felt like I was in a ''flash as'' motel but what was really cool ... we didn't have to check out in the morning!!! :)
Now for the details of the past few days ... we got a call on Monday last week from the valuer to say he hadn't done the final inspection for the valuation yet. I gave him a sturn hurry along given that the bank needed that done before they would pay out the money and the builders wouldnt give us keys until they had been paid. And we only had a window of 4 or 5 hours that we had the truck and dad to drive it. So it all had to go smoothly or we would be up the poo.
But our stress was for nothing because settlement went through at 11.30am (we planned for 1pm) ... plenty of time. We packed the truck up, did a final vacuum of the old house and we were off. I drove one car up (loaded to the top with stuff). I said a little prayer before I left ''God, please don't let there be any cops on my way today''. Because I had misplaced my drivers licence at the solicitors the day before, my car was overloaded, I couldn't see out the back window or the left side mirror, I had a tyre that was almost flat while I drove to the nearest service station to pump it up and my warrent of fitness had expired a few weeks ago and I hadn't managed to get it done yet. So off I went .... then came around a corner and stumbled on a road block!! Ohhh nooo!!! Had brief thoughts of doing a runner but figured my car didn't go fast enough to outrun any cops lol. So wound down my window and faced the music. ''Excuse me maam, we're just doing some WOF and licence checks today'' DAMN!!! lol At least he was nice enough to me ... gave me a $200 fine for the WOF which would be disregarded if I got it within 14 days and let me off for not having my drivers licence on me. To be honest ... I really didn't care what he gave me ... I just bought a HOUSE!!! lol
So we got to Auckland ... finally ... felt like the longest trip I have ever made! We had to have the truck unloaded in just over an hour so dad could get it back to Hamilton and milk cows. So we ran for the next while as quick as we could. We decided to start unpacking boxes there and then too. My younger brother came by later after work to give us a hand too ... armed with pizza!!! I really wasn't in any state of mind to refuse pizza lol. Got the beds set up, kids in bed and sat down for a few drinks which turned into many!! lol
We both decided to set up the computer desk and computer which became quite hilarious in our drunken state!! lol ... Ever tried setting up computers while out of your brains lol? Can be quite funny.
At 1am in the morning Bill and I decided to go for a walk around the naubourhood, so blotto we couldn't walk a straight line lol. We were just so relieved to finally be here!! We have never worked so hard for anything!
We had a great time and finally tucked ourselves into bed around 2am. Problem with that was we both woke up with terrible hangovers yet with so much work still to do lol. Silly people lol. But we persevered on yesterday and got 95% of it done. And I finished the last of it off this morning. So we are all unpacked except for a few boxes in the garage but not worrying too much about that. Our garage is full to the brim of empty banana boxes that we need to get rid of.
The best thing I have noticed about this house is the sence of relief with keeping an eye on the younger two kids. It's totally fenced in so they can go in or out and I don't need to worry. Huge burden gone. The other major thing I've noticed, the kids can be playing in their room with the door shut and I can be at the other end of the house and not hear them one bit. We've never had that before ... there was always some sort of noise.
Our extra furniture from Farmers hasn't arrived yet so that's annoying. Aparantly our sofa bed is on backorder!! Can you believe it? We ordered it over 3mths ago yet they still couldnt get their butts in order to get it sorted in time. They decided not to deliver anything because they couldn't get one item. So we gave them a hurry along and told them we wanted everything else to be delivered anyway. We're still waiting on that one.
One little thing that's really cool ... my internet connection is 50.6kbps here ... in Hamilton it was only 31kbps ... I hated the connection there!! Small things/small minds huh? lol
My eating has been absolutely terrible. And I didn't manage to get to weighin on Wednesday night ... just too busy! I'll go and face the music next Wednesday.
Well I'm off to read what everyone else has been up to.

busy two days!!
I'm sitting here in an echoey house with a computer, table and a tv in it ... that's it!!! No furniture ... nothing!! We've spent the last two days clearing everything out to the garage and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning!!! I know it's a little early with moving day not till Wednesday but Monday Bill's at work and I have another set of stationery to finish, Tuesday we are in Auckland all day doing all the paperwork stuff (solicitors etc) and then Wednesday is upon us. So it was now or never. Feels great to have it all done (well the packing up side of it anyhow). I was going to leave the cleaning till after we moved in and come back and do it. But after thinking this through I realised the last thing I would feel like doing after moving in would be to come back here and work my butt off cleaning and scrubbing!!! So got it over and done with early .... yay!!! My wonderful parents never helped one single bit!! (but that was expected!) But in saying that they have put us up for a couple of days before we move (even with a few jibes but oh well)... just makes me very homesick for my new house (and it's not even my home yet lol)
There's no real way of keeping an eye on my food the next few days with not being in my own house but doing the best I can. Won't be going to weighin tomorrow but from now on will be changing my weighin day to a Wednesday (back to my old meeting in Manurewa!!! Yay oh yay!!!) I miss them all so much!!!
One small bummer ... changing my weighin time from midday to evening so will mean a probable gain the first week back ... grrrr ... can't be helped so get over it Lynette!!! Easier said than done lol.
Wow I only have one more job to get done before we move and that one is all printed ... just needs putting together. Can't believe I got them all done!! Talk about stressful!! I said way back in July when we first moved down here that I would keep this week in February free with no work and look what I do??? I have the busiest week of the whole year!!! Duhh!!!! My normal busy time is November ... hmmm ... so this is very strange. Just glad it's all over.
Kids are at mum's tonight (all except Jese who's sleeping in a portacot in his room) and of course we are in our bed. Probably won't sleep too well with all the furniture gone. Funny that how I can sence a change even tho I'm asleep. I'm like that when we shift too. Takes me a good couple of weeks to be able to sleep properly.
Not sure if I'll be able to get back online in the next few days ... pretty hectec... of course I'll try my best :)
Oh well ... off to catch up with all your journals.

Weight gain nightmares
Another day gone ... another job done ... another day closer to our moving day. Yay!!
2 jobs left to go and I'm having a few printer problems still so things could be going a little smoother ...ohh well.
I didn't finish the set of placecards and order of service sheets (for a wedding held today) till around 7pm last night. So at 7.30pm here we were driving to drop off the job to the client. Kids hadn't had dinner and I'm surprised they lasted so well. With finances being so tight the only option (in my head anyway) was to get hot chips on the way home. Not the best choice in healthy food I know. But considering the time and money aspect it was the only choice. Am I trying to justify myself here? Sounds like it lol.
I felt so bad about the plate of chips that I had nightmares about gaining weight all night. Serves me right! Good thing is I had it, enjoyed it and getting right back ontrack today. I'm not going to let it haunt me and make me stumble for the rest of the week.
Hmmm ... not much else to tell. Boring day here working again (no rest for the wicked lol)

What a day!!!
Hit an all time stress high yesterday.
Spent 3hrs on the phone organising the power, phone, gas, final valuations, lawyers, bank managers, hiring truck, getting house and contents insurance, organising cover letters from insurance company to soliciter, change of address forms, setting up appointments with builders and the list goes on!! I hate that part of moving.
Talking to the solicitor makes the process seem so impersonal ... like its some business transaction not like moving into our dream home that we have been saving our butts off for the last 6mths. lol oh well .. guess they have to be like that.
Found out that we have over a $1000 lawyers fees to pay ($899 fees and a couple of hundred Rates and ARC rates to pay) next Tuesday when we sign all the papers for the house. I knew it was coming up but the bank said they would put $500 towards it. I've since found out that we have to pay it first and they reinburse it back (who knows when).
We really needed some duvet inners and new pillows for the whole family so had planned on using that money for that ... there goes that idea!
Then my printer went on the blink dropping blobs of ink on every page I printed. And when I suddenly realised I needed another Majenta ink cartridge for over the long weekend my ink supplier said he was all out of stock and the next shipment wouldnt be in till next week ... I NEED IT NOW THO!!! (funny the guy didn't seem to understand that)
Then to top it off ... Bill ate the last of the cheese I had planned to use for dinner ... so he got a BLAST call from me ripping his head off, pulling it to pieces and throwing it all over the floor!!! He replied .. ''Is it safe for me to come home? or do I find somewhere else to sleep?'' At which I laughed and realised it was nothing to do with the cheese and nothing to do with anything Bill had done. Aww poor guy lol. So at that stage I quite doing business work for the night and sat down to watch Shortland Street instead. Bill walked in from work very sheepishly, came up to me and gave me a big hug ... just what I needed! Awww I love my man ... he's the best!
Hence I didn't finish the job I had planned to yesterday but not to worry ... the important thing was I didn't turn to food ... a few cigerettes maybe lol ... but not food ... yay me!!
So I'm back to the grindstone today trying to sort everything again. But at least I'm in a much better mood to face it today :)
Have a great holiday Lynda!!! I'm gonna miss your updates but I'm sure that will be the last thing on your brain while you are sunbathing on the beach with that georgous bod of yours :) We want lots of pics when you get back!!!
Had some more really cool emails from people the last few days. I tell ya ... you guys really don't know how much that means when I'm having a chit day to come online and hear people say such kind words! Kinda stops me in my tracks and helps me see the big picture again and forget about my daily stresses. I try to reply to every one of the emails I get but somedays I'm worried some might slip through that I don't get a chance to reply to ... so if you have sent me an email with no reply then take these words especially for you ..."It has been a huge support to me the last few months and means so much to me ... so THANKYOU!!
Funny how even writing this journal clears my head and helps me get started so focussed each day. Enough head spin talk ... on with work!!

1 week to go! :)
Firstly, primo loss this week for Leigh!! 1.1kg ... way to go Leigh! And my sister lost 1kg too this week ...wahooo!!
Secondly, only 7 days to go before the big move!! That's only 1 week!!! Can't believe it but still seems so far away. Still have so much to do before we move. 3 more sets of stationery (feeling good about that one) and a whole house to pack (not to mention the washing do wash, fold and put away). To be honest all the work has taken away the excitement of moving a tad. I'm still excited but I just have to focus on getting everything done then when everythings done I can get excited.
Eating was okay yesterday. By okay I mean I had 2 pieces of cake at mums (not good) and I didn't take the skin off the chicken pieces I cooked for dinner (bad). But ... I resisted having a frozen icecream after dinner.
Bet Lynda must be getting excited about her holiday ... not long to go now.
Hopefully should have another job finished today leaving only 2 sets to go before we shift ... looks like I may actually get it all done :)
I'm outa here

lowest ever in 9yrs
yay 700g loss!!! That takes me down to the lowest I have been in over 9yrs. Still trying to balance everything on my plate right now ... shifting, business work, kids, Bill, housework, and weightloss!! Phew ... hard work!! Usually my weightloss takes a high priority in my day but I am finding I am just running out of time and energy to keep up the motivation. Don't worry ... I'm not losing the plot or giving up I'm just happy that I can still lose and more importantly not gain during such a stressful time.
If you take a look at my weightchart you'll see my weight has been bouncing around alot lately ... I seem to be losing and gaining the same 600g for quite a few weeks but overall I am still going downwards and I am still well ahead of my original goal dates I set for myself a year ago. So I've got to be happy with myself for that. Big picture syndrome has to take control ... not whipping myself over a few gains here and there.
Bill and I took the kids out for a walk along the river yesterday afternoon and on the way home we decided to call in to the supermarket to buy some ingredience for home made pizzas. (far better choice than the takeaway ones I was tempted in getting). Trouble was they were so yummy I had 3 pieces!!! Writing that down here doesn't make it seem so bad but I was really bloated!! I should have stopped at two. Lucky it didn't effect my weighin today too much.
I'm really looking forward to getting back to Auckland so I can get back to the gym again. Did I mention that already? I forget lol. I put my gym membership on hold when I moved down here so it's sitting there waiting for me to come back.
Have another house pic in the photo album ... this time it's of the front garden. The house is pretty much finished ... just a fence needs to go up on the side of the house to the boundary fence. We go up for our official tour through the house by the builders so they can explain how everything works sometime this week.
I need to get all my work done by Monday 9th so I can start packing on that day. That's 5 sets in 7 days!! Wow !! But in saying that I have 3 of the jobs half done. Better stop yacking and get onto all this work I keep talking about then huh? lol

such a simple solution
What a horrible morning I have had!! Firstly, some background info ... I have a space invaders type game on my computer that I allow my kids to play every now and then. But when they play it sometimes it stuffs up my computer and everything goes big and sideways!!! lol ... really funny and hard to explain and everyone I have asked about it has never heard of it before. I always thought it was something to do with not being compatible with windows XP.
Anyhow up until now everytime it happened I have done a 'system restore'and taken the computer back 24hrs which fixes it.... but ... last night I got sent a virus via email and to get rid of it I had to turn off system restore and forgot to turn it back on again after I had finished ... which meant (you still with me here?) ... when the kids played the game this morning and it went sideways again I didn't have a system restore point to turn the computer back to .... grrrr ... I spent the whole morning trying to fix it ... uninstalling and reinstalling programmes ...
Eventually I went onto Google and did a search for "sideways screen'' and came across a forum with a message posted by someone who had exactly the same thing happen ... such a simple problem to fix once I knew what had happened! The kids must have pressed Ctrl + Alt + the side arrow all at the same time which apparently is a 'hotkeys'command for 'turn the screen sideways!! lol ... so when I pressed Ctrl + Alt and the up arrow it reverted it back to normal ... what a relief!!!
So in a much happier place now lol
On with my eating .... no bad habits creeping back in today. I always feel so slim when TOM has finished. Should have some sort of loss at Mondays weighin ... not sure how much. Gotta make up for the gain at last weighin.
Spent yesterday going to the Mount with mum and dad and the kids. Rained the whole way there, stopped raining for 10mins while we ate our picnic lunch by the water, then rained the whole way back again ... oh well it was a good day out even with the rain. And I was pleased mum decided to pack sandwiches and fruit instead of buying BK or MacDees.
Aparently the front garden has been done on our house. Bill says it looks good but as for details ... umm ... he said they have leaves on the plants and the garden's a sort of half kidney shape or old fireman's hat shape ... whatever that is lol. Typical male!! lol Guess I'll have to wait till later next week when we go up again.

1 job done ... 5 to go
Still a little stressed today although coping okay. Managed to get 1 job finished ... 5 to go. Mum and Dad took the three older kids for an outing to the zoo today so that has given me a little peace and quiet to get work done.
House is a mess at the moment with trying to get so much business work done. It really gets me down when there is clutter. But I'm not going to stress about that ... when my work is all done then I will focus on the housework.
Ended up having a whole bottle of wine to myself last night. Way more than I usually have and I felt the after effects this morning. Serves me right lol. But I enjoyed it and was able to stay within my points even after the wine.
Feeling pretty good weightwise although have been too scared to jump on the scales. I'll wait till weighin on Monday to see how I have gone. Haven't had any blowouts this week although with TOM here the scales do funny things.
Thanks to all of you who sent congrats about our house deposit. It's funny ... I got a better reaction from you guys (whom I've never met in real life) than from family around us. But that's my family ... Indifference is their middle name. I'm still excited tho ... at least I have you guys to share my news with :)

WE'VE MADE IT!!!!
Wow ... we have OFFICIALLY saved our house deposit!!!! Yahoooooo!! All $34,000 of it!!! ($17,000 was paid to the builders at the start and $17,000 we have been saving over the last 5.5mths). I can't believe we actually made it and ahead of time too (by 2 weeks). It means we have to live on baked beans and spagetti this week lol but hey who cares ... we have a new house!!!!!
Can you tell I'm excited?? Toooo right I am!!! Bill set the alarm for midnight lastnight, so we could get up and transfer the funds to our savings account as soon as his pay went in, then we would celebrate with a bottle of wine (which we had set up on the bench ready to go). The alarm went off ... and as expected got turned off again and we went back to sleep! lol ... all with good intentions.
But this morning first thing we got up and transfered it over. Took us 23 weeks all together and what a hard 23 weeks it was too but all makes the house even sweeter :). Not out of the woods quite yet with some big bills to pay over the next couple of weeks but at least the important one is done!
Had a freak session yesterday when I got a virus sent through via email. I managed to stop it and delete it with my Nortons but it scared me. They've had on the news the last few days about a virus that gets into your bank account and strips all funds via internet banking. I rang the bank and asked for extra security to be put on our savings account with a 'NO WITHDRAWALS' policy, but they assured me it would be safe and no extra precautions would be needed. Besides he said if it did get stolen then the bank would cover us and return the funds. Still a scarey thought.
Virus creators really P*** me off. Just for entertainment they like to annoy as many people as possible. Let's get off that subject before I get myself worked up lol.
On the eating note ... I was really good all day yesterday but when it came to dinner I only had a roast mutton to cook so roast mutton it was. I cooked it with no oil but it still turned out pretty fatty. Still probably kept within points for the day but hard to tell with fatty meat like that.
CONGRATS LEIGH!!! on a fantastic weighin!!!! 1.6kg loss!!!! absolutely stunning effort!
On that positive note I'll sign off for the day :)
See ya!

My tantrum!!
I came on here this morning to do an update saying how depressed and stressed I was with this whole moving thing and with all the workload I have on with the business. Even tho I have officially stopped the business and not taking any more bookings I still have the tail end of work to complete. Six sets of stationery in two weeks to be exact ... too much!!
And as far as shifting ... I don't want to shift anymore! Ohh I want to be in my new house ... but I want to be able to click my fingers and be there with all my furniture. We can't afford to get movers in to do it for us and all the people we were relying on to help us have piked out at the last minute!! Typical! And mum is refusing to look after Jesurun. Can you imagine packing and shifting with a 18mth old running round!! It's really falling to custard! I just want it over with and I haven't even started!
To top it off TOM arrived this morning!! Grrrr!!
But in saying that ... I got three wonderful emails from three fantastic people this morning!! Thankyou Clare, Rachel and Lauren!!!! Three wonderful ladies who took the time to email and tell me how my website has helped them in different ways. This has cheered me on to keep going, head up and forget about all the stress around me!!
This website has been the best tool I could have ever had! So many times I have wanted to stop and I know without this I would have. But because I can come here and have a vent out (even a tantrum if I want lol) then I feel so much better. Then I read others journals which greatly inspires me and with feedback I receive from you guys (even if it's just a comment in the tagboard below) I makes me so excited! At the start I did this website to help others but I didn't realise how much it would actually help me!!
SO A HUGE THANKYOU TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU THAT READ THIS!!! Geez sounds like it's me getting the Golden Globe!! (yay gooooooo Lord of the Rings!!!)
Anyway I feel much better now ... thanks for listening to my vent! ;-)

Im sooo in seventh heaven!!!
I am in seventh heaven!!! We just got back from looking at the house. And the builder was right!! The colours are stunning ... especially the carpet. Some of you may remember way back when we chose our colours (last year)that I had some worries about the colour of the carpet. Originally we thought it was a real deep blue but after getting a larger sample it looked more grey. After a lot of twoing and froing we decided to go with it anyway ... well ... guess what??
IT'S BLUE!!!! Yay!!! A deep rich navy blue ... it looks far better down than any sample looked! I love it!!! Everything looks great. Only two small glitches ... the whole they drilled for the deadbolt on one ranchslider is in the wrong place meaning we can't lock the door and the deadbolt at the same time. And they forgot to put a phone plug in that I specifically asked for (for internet connection ... that's for you guys so I can keep up my diary! lol)
But both problems are fixable and not a major. I'll get them a call on Monday to sort it.
Everything is practically finished. The lawn seed is laid ... just a small garden to be planted in the front and the letterbox put in. A railing to go up on the stairs, pantry doors to go on, fridge to arrive, that's about it ... it's all done!!! Our house is finished!!!! I wanna move in NOWWWWWW ... WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! lol
I was so well behaved today!! Bill got pies from the bakery for lunch and they smelt soooo goood!! Nothing smells as good as a hot pie! But I resisted and went with a filled roll instead. Not only that ... he bought me two rolls and I only had one (even if it means throwing the other one away ... wow once upon a time I would have eaten it even if it made me ill rather than throw any food away!!)
Then went to friends for dinner and had home made burgers ... pretty low fat too. Wanted a second but opted for more salad (0 points) Yay I'm sooo gooooood!! :)
Off to bed now ... it's been a long day considering it's after midnight now... way past my bedtime (for an old fart like me anyhow lol)

New pics
I have the pics through of the house ... yay!! I've put them in the photo album for you all to see.
Found out from the builders today that even tho settlement date is set for the 11th February, we won't get the keys till after 4pm (till the paperwork comes through from our soliciter). I would have been happy to shift in the next day but Bill is addiment he wants to shift on that day, regardless of how late it is!! lol
Problem with that is ... dad is driving the truck and he needs to be back in Hamilton by 5pm (at the latest) to milk cows. Hmmm ... not sure how we are going to work this one. And neither will budge (typical males lol). All in all ... it's a minor detail and everything will work out in the end. yay!! I'm so excited!!
My eating was really good up till this afternoon when mum brought home doughnuts!! Grrrr ... and I just couldn't say no could I? I worked it out at 4pts which isn't too bad but will put me over points (of which I don't have any saved). Think I'll have a light dinner to make up for it.
Was really proud of myself last night ... PMT time hitting at the moment and I wanted CHOCOLATE or Icecream ... hey I wasn't fussy ... just something BAD that I wasn't allowed!! But I resisted ... told myself that it was only my hormones being greedy. Beat them into submission! :) yay me!!
Bill noticed last night that our dinners were getting rather large. Funny how portion sizes creep up on you when you are watching it. I've stopped weighing and measuring everything and without me noticing I was starting to cook bigger and bigger meals. Gave me a reality check.
Going up to see the house again tommorow. Michelle from the builders said the photos don't do it justice so will be nice to see it in real life!! Wahooo!!

Carpet is down!! :))
I've been very well behaved today. All except for having a piece of cake mum had made. But she made it with Walnuts (which I don't like) so that helped in resisting a second piece.
Having a vegetarian dinner to save on more points.
Poor Leigh wrote about only having a 100g loss this week after a huge amount of exercise. As hard as it is to accept ... muscle building causes losses to slow down or stop. but this doesn't mean to say it is a bad thing ... quite the opposite! After the body has finished building all the muscle it needs to sustain the exercise demands it will burn fat at a much faster rate, hence speed up the weightloss even more later on. So gooo Leigh!!!
Got an email from the builders this morning to say that the carpet has been laid in our house ... and in her words ''It looks stunning!!" So lets hope she is right. We've gone with a dark charcoal grey/blue with woven lines. I really can't wait to see it. She's supposed to be sending some photos through so I'll post them up as soon as I have them ... yay!! Carpet down ... that's like ... nearly finished!!!
As of this morning we only have $1900 to go to save our $17000 house deposit!! Yay!! I feel like we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now ... really not long to go!

Not good I'm afraid
Had a 600g gain this week ... grrrr!! Taking me back to 79.6kg. I just can't seem to get below the 79kg mark for some reason. Oh well in 3 weeks time I will be back in Auckland and able to spend more on groceries to get a proper shop and better food to stay on track.
I've had a really itchy back lately. Right in one exact spot in the middle of my back behind where my bra strap sits. So I got mum to check it today and she said there's a mole there that has a red ring around it... SCARY STUFF!! I wanted to jump in the car there and then to go get it checked but couldn't with all the kids here at the moment. Will have to wait till tomorrow or the next day. If it is a problem one I didn't think it would be itchy. Hmmm ... not sure whether to freak out or put it out of my mind. I will go get it checked as soon as I possibly can. It's not like I spend much time in the sun either. I get really bad head stroke if I spend too much time in the sun so I tend to just watch from the shade. But in saying that I got burnt a few weeks back when we went to the beach for a few days. But surely I wouldn't get a malenoma from one sitting in the sun (and honestly that is the first time in quite a few years I have been sunbathing)
Kids are driving me barmy!!! Lauren has a friend over to stay today and tommorow ... so there are kids galore here!! Only 3wks to go before the older two head back to school and Jordan starts kindy!! yay!!! Geez I sound so mean don't I? lol ... I just hate the fighting and the MESS!! That also means for 3hrs a day I will only have Jese at home and I can go walking and to the gym!!
Found out yesterday that I only have one more Weight Watchers meeting before we shift! Next Monday is a holiday and the following will be my last. Monday 9th Feb I will be packing.
Not much other news to tell ... lets hope next weigh in will be better than this weeks!

Only 3wks to go!!! ahhhhh!!
I have weigh in this morning ... and to tell you the truth I blew it last night. Not majorly but maybe enough to through the scales to the + side.
We had Malachi's birthday party ... icecream cake with fruit salad (which was okay in points) but then went to friends house and I had a couple of drinks and chinese takeaways. We chose a low point version but when we got it you could see the oil everywhere!! But I still ate it although not a huge plateful. Could have been worse but I so desperately want to get to my 30kg loss mark and I'm only a couple of kilos away. oh well can't mope about it ... gotta go face the music.
But Malachi's birthday was a hit!! We did a BBQ dinner for him on Saturday night with American Hotdogs and chips. Then on Sunday we took him to Candyland where they showed how they made chocolates and lollies. And he got to make his own lollypop! Then we went out to a park for lunch and home for icecream cake and fruitsalad. Malachi never really says much but I could tell by the smile on his face that he was loving it all!!
It suddenly dawned on me yesterday that we only have just over 3wks to go before we move!! I haven't started packing yet!! And infact have so much work on that doesn't look like I can start packing for a while. Every other move we have done I have started packing quite a few weeks out and done it slow when I have the time. But I think I will do it differently this time ... all in one bang. Think we will all go stay at mums for 2days before and I will spend 2 days hard out packing all in one go. That way I can get it all done at one time and not have to leave things out that we still need to use.
I'll try and pop back later on this evening to let you know how weigh in went ... wish me luck!! lol

Fighting the temptations
I feel like a naughty little girl at the moment! I went to town and bought myself a 3ft teddybear. It was reduced down to half price from Farmers because he had a Santa hat (which I took off when I got it home) After showing mum my proud purchase her reply was Öhhh Lynette!! How silly! Don't you know teddy bears are out of fashion now?" So consequently I am feeling rather bitchy!! Mothers, dontcha love em??!!
I have a 2ltr container of icecream staring at me in the freezer that I so want to consume!!! But doing everything in my might not to.
On top of that Bill rang to say he wont be home till late AGAIN! (around 9pm) He is working such long hours at the moment and with travel time it is exagerated even more.
And this morning we found out the company that leases me my computer has just gone into RECEIVERSHIP!! I really don't know what this means for us but may mean we lose our computer and have to start again putting everything back on and just after I have got it running perfectly ... grrrrr!!
It's hot and I WANT ICECREAM!! But I won't allow myself even one bit because if I start with one scoop I won't stop.
On a cheerier note ... FANTASTIC GOING LEIGH!!! She had such a good weigh in result this week ... 4.3kg!!! Simply amazing!!
Don't worry about going over your points each day Lynda ... at least you are still counting. I would start to worry if you hadn't been counting points and not updating your journal. That's when it's easy to slide back into old habits. Besides with all the exercise you are doing you deserve a few treats here and there!
Everyone else is doing fantastically too from what I've been reading ... well done!!!

Best day ever!
Bill and I had the most wonderful day yesterday! We celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary. Mum looked after the kids from 10am till 3pm while we went up to Auckland to look at our house. They are getting very near completion and I'm starting to get really excited. 27 days to go before move in day! Then we had lunch (at subway) and off to play a game of mini golf together. Bill whipped my butt ... seems I've lost my touch for mini golf lol. We used to play all the time while we were dating and had a trophy plate that we handed back and forth depending on who won. But he well and truelly won yesterday.
Then had a magnum icecream before heading back to Hamilton to pick up the kids. Relaxed for a bit at home then dressed up for dinner while mum came over again to look after the kids. Went to a restaurant where you get your meat/veges that you want, put the marinate you want and give it to someone who cooks it up for you infront of everyone. Was a great idea in that you got exactly what you wanted and knew there was nothing bad in there (like fat)
Then for dessert they cooked pancakes on another hotplate while you watched and you got to put your chosen syrup and icecream on top.
It meant I didn't go too high in points yet had a really enjoyable dinner.
Then we went for a stroll down by the river and headed off to a friends place who was house sitting a mansion for coffee!! Really nice house ... wow!! 6 bedrooms and amazing gardens! Then headed home. Huge day but a fantastic one!!
This Saturday is Malachi's 6th birthday and we're taking him to Candyland then out to lunch. He mentioned 6mths ago that he would love to go there so we're going to surprise him.
The month after Christmas is filled with celebrations with New Years, my birthday, wedding anniversary, malachi's birthday. Fun but have to be so careful with the overeating. Got through the first 3 without too much damage on the scales ... let's hope the last one is just as good. Luckily I'm not too much of a sweet tooth. Tend to be tempted more by the savory things.
I've started sorting out our stored boxes in the garage and have been chucking things out. I've filled up a trailer load already. Can't believe I shifted all that stuff down here from Auckland in the first place lol. But as a friend pointed out I am obviously ready to part with those things now that I wasn't able to when we moved here 6mths ago. Funny how priorities change when you don't use something for that long.
Busy day ahead with work, work, work.
Catcha all

wahoo!!!
Recorded a 1.2kg loss today at weighin ... yay!! :))
Felt slim but didn't think it would be that good!
Big congrats to Lynda for her wonderful loss this week! 1.3kg!! Way to go Lynda! She mentioned about someone noticing her weightloss on a day she felt fat. lol life is like that sometimes. Shows that how we feel about ourselves is not necesarily how it actually is. But I agree ... she does look hot now!! :))
And Leigh is still doing fantastically too. She has reinspired me to keep going.

Huge success
Started off my birthday day with breakfast in bed thanks to Lauren (my 8yr daughter). Tomato on toast (without butter) isn't she good?
Then got ready for the drive out to Raglan for my flight...
The gliding was a huge success ... I loved every minute of it!! I actually got to fly the glider for 10mins of the 30min flight ... doing circles, going up and down. It was so much fun. We managed to find an updraft while up there and climbed a further 800ft. Could be very addictive lol... but would be too expensive to be a permanent hobby ... here's dreaming lol.
We all went for a swim after my flight. The kids just loved splashing around with their dad. Then came home for a surprise dinner put on by mum and my sister. Everyone in the family was there (except my brother who lives in Sydney) Trish (my sister), her husband, Richard (my younger brother), mum, dad, and of course Bill and the kids. Mum got me a huge birthday sponge cake (with all the trimmings) from the cheesecake shop ... yum!! But hopefully wasn't too high in points being it was mostly sponge.
I did really well points wise (had a few saved up) but went over a little on the second piece of birthday cake ...ahhh well lol.
Mum got me a funky gardening book... really nice and Trish got me an outdoor sail ... how cool is that? To go over our BBQ area in our new house. And of course Bill and the kids bought me the glider flight.
Had lots of fun and don't feel any older today ... hehe
Thanks so much for all your comments ... such a nice surprise when I logged on tonight .... yay!!
Weigh in tommorow and really don't know what to expect... wait and see I guess.

No longer a kid :)
It's 10.41pm and the last day of me officially being a young person (in my mind anyway). In just over 1.5hrs I turn 30yrs old. I'm excited and disappointed at the same time. Imagine 30 years old??? lol
But honestly I'm not too worried. Turning 30 was one of the reasons I decided to start WW last year... I wanted to be slim for the rest of my life. I was sick of being on the verge of obesity or gross obesity lol. Even tho I haven't made it to goal before I turn the big 3...0... I'm still happy where I am and where I am headed.
Bill has shouted me a flight on a glider tomorrow ... something I have always wanted to do. So we are off to Raglan for the big event after lunch. The kids are so excited about my birthday. They have been making me cards and pictures all week and hiding them so I don't find out their surprise... so sweet!! Times like that I love being a mum!
Eating has been good. Haven't had any bad food in the house to be bad. Desperately wanted icecream tonight but lucky we are 15mins drive from the nearest dairy ... too far to be bothered driving all that way lol.
Just wanted to take this opportunity to say how proud I am of Leigh ... she is doing so well and has that spark of enthusiasm that is really contagous. Really looking forward to her weighin day. It's great to have a bunch of people on here sharing their ups and downs with everyone. Motivates us all so much!! Goooo Leigh!!!

back breaking work but worth it
I spent today helping dad plant out 500+ sweetcorn seedlings into a paddock... backbreaking work but good for earning those bonus points!!! :)
I looooove sweetcorn so was willing to help out all I could to get a good crop in.
Been very well behaved points wise the last couple of days. Determed to get a loss back on the record.
Huge apologies to everyone who has had problems getting onto my website. The traffic has gone above what a freebie site will allow so basically i will need to upgrade to a paid site to stop it going down all the time which will cost $140 a year. For now while I sort it out either come straight to this page or view it after 8pm at night to be able to get in.
I have put up 2 new photos in my photo album of the house. One was taken on 22 Dec of the outside and one just a few days ago of the tiling at our front entrance. Really not long to go now ... just under 5weeks!! 34 days infact!! and counting down. We have almost $13,000 saved of our $17,000 so on track there too.
dinner is burning so better get back to it.

Something to celebrate!!
The scales were not nice to me this week with another gain of 500g. This time I didn't deserve it!! I know it was down to all the exercise last week (including a 3hr tramp up a mountain) but still doesn't look nice on my records. I'm not going to focus on the gain but on the huge achievements I have gained this last year.
As you can see from my front page I am celebrating one whole year on Weight Watchers. This time last year I was FAT!!! lol and now I consider myself slim ... that's gotta be something to celebrate!!
Here are some of the changes I have noticed ...
1. I am no longer a hermit hiding inside my hole choosing now to go out and socialise rather that sit at home where no one can see me.
2. When I go out I walk with my shoulders back and posture straight ... not because I want to change my posture but because I am proud of who I am and proud of my body!! 1yr ago I had such bad posture purely because I was continually trying to hide.
3. I enjoy shopping and dressing up now. 1 year ago it was my pet hate ... I HATED SHOPPING ~ I could never find clothes that fitted and looked nice on.
4. I can easily sit cross legged on the ground and crossing my legs while sitting is no problem either. 1yr ago I couldn't cross my legs unless I used my arms to hold them together... just too much fat between them thighs! :)
5. This Saturday for my birthday I am going Gliding. Yay cant wait!! 1 yr ago I wouldn't have even suggested such a thing, knowing I wouldn't fit in the seat of the plane.
6. I no longer worry what people are thinking of me. If they don't like me that's their problem and nothing I can do will change that. 1 yr ago I thought EVERYONE hated me unless I did something to impress them.
7. I now LOVE SUMMER!! An excuse to show off my new body, new tan and new clothes. 1 yr ago summer was the worst season of the year because I couldn't hide behind my baggy jerseys.
These are just a few ways my life and attitudes have changed. There are far more ways than I could ever put on here but I guess this gives you the picture that I love what is happening ... love feeling in control again ... love my body ... and can't wait to get to goal!!
Yay me!!!

I'm on a roll now
I've been for 3 walks since I last wrote a few days ago. Went for 2 yesterday, 1 stroll with a cousin along the river and one in the afternoon totalling 1.5hrs that day.
Then this morning dad asked me if I wanted to go with him up Mt Pirongia. It was real fun and I worked my butt off for 3hrs of tramping. Getting excited about exercise again which always makes me stick to my points better too.
I gave Bill a BBQ for christmas so we've been making lots of use of that along with healthy salads. I've always enjoyed summer in that way... so much easier to stick to it.
New Years Eve was a bit of a dead loss last night lol. We were watching a movie on sky while we waited for the hours to tick by then before we knew it ... it was midnight and we'd missed the turn of the calender lol. So we went to bed ... that was it lol ... no hooray, no celebrations! lol. Next year we plan to have a street BBQ in our new home for new years.
Not much else to tell
Happy New Year to everyone!!!!

Not too bad
Christmas day has been and gone and I feel like I am a bit back in control ... not totally tho. (there's still choccies sitting at mums that I can't resist everytime i go there)
Christmas day was fun but I didn't have as much control as I had planned. I way overate. I was fine for the Christmas lunch but when we went to a cousins house for christmas dinner I just couldn't control myself ... I ate, ate, ate! Then boxing day wasn't much better. I hadn't felt so out of control in the whole year gone by as I did the last few days. So I decided enough was enough and went out for a run on Saturday morning, then that afternoon Bill wanted to take the kids for a swim in the river so I took Jese in the pushchair and went for another half hour walk. And on Saturday Bill and I went for a run/walk down the river for an hour. I figured if I couldn't control my eating then the least I could do was exercise more to try and compensate.
Then yesterday off I went to ww weighin. The exercise must have worked because I had a 600g loss. Given that I had such a huge gain of 1.3kg last week that went someway to working it back. So I am now again under 80kg. I'll be so glad when all the leftovers and chocolates have all gone!! lol
WW released a new program this week so hoping that will reinspire me to get back into it 100% again. But ultimately I am happy with how I am going and as long as I keep plodding away I'll be fine.
Hope everyone had a great christmas and enjoy the new Year.
Cheers,
Lyn :)

what a shocker!! 1.3kg gain!!!!
I am now typing on a brand new computer... finally! My computer lease place has decided to replace the other hardrive that was giving me so many problems. And I have been working on it all day without one single freeze. Feels great to have a machine that's NORMAL! lol
Weigh in gave me a bit of a shock yesterday ... a 1.3kg GAIN!!! lol... I have to laugh ... that's the only way to cope with such a shocker! TOM started today so presuming that had something to do with the huge gain. But in the whole time I have been on ww I have never had such a huge gain before even at TOM. (largest before this was 200g!!) The other thing I thought of was the roast mutton I cooked this week. (couldn't turn down a free roast of mutton) but it was pretty fatty and I was so hungry that day I ate a large helping. Must have been higher in points than I thought.
Probably have to think of it as a possitive in that giving me a shocker gain the week before Christmas will hopefully make me watch what I eat this week.
Went to Auckland yesterday to choose the kitchen/bathroom/ensuite floor and wall tiles. Was soooo exciting!!! I found a really cool tile that had brown and charcoal grey in it (quite rustic) to match with the walls and carpet (carpet = charcoal grey and wallpaper = fawn). And the wall tiles we have gone for a nuetral whitewash offwhite. By white wash I mean each tile looks like it has had a brush coat of white overtop with each tile being unique and different. Then we have a border of tiles going the full circumference of the bathroom. Hard to explain on here but as soon as I have some pics I'll post them up for you.
Roast turkey roll for dinner tonight. Bill got given it in a Christmas hamper from his new job. And it's 97% fat free!!!
That's about it for today.

Not long to go now
This will be my last update for a few days. My computer goes back up to Auckland tommorow morning (hopefully for the last time) to be sent away for testing and hopefully replaced. Fingers crossed it will play up the same for them as it does for me (always the way tho lol)
Went to a family BBQ lunch today and found myself picking at the food on the table. (my old pre-ww habits creeping back) I do really well when I don't have temptations in front of me. At home I don't have anything in the house that can lead me astray but in situations where I can't control what is put infront I find myself slipping up. Old habits die hard I guess.
Weigh in tomorrow and I'll be happy with a stay-the-same. Over christmas my goal is to maintain. Not going to worry about actually losing for the moment until after New Years.
Only 7wks to go till we move into our house. Wow time has just flown by. After Christmas and New Years, then my birthday in early Jan, then Malachi's birthday mid Jan, our wedding anniversary mid Jan, and then it will only be a couple of weeks to go. I can see the next short while will fly by too. Sounds good to me lol.
Hopefully the next time I write on here I will be on a new computer (that works properly)
Till then, if I don't get a chance to say it ... HAVE A FANTASTIC CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

finally someone actually takes me seriously
Big sigh of relief!! I have just finished the last of my work before Christmas!! Yay ohhh yay!!! I can actually have the whole of next week off. The last time I had a break that long ... wow I don't remember. Can't wait!
Bill is also having 4 days off over Christmas. True Bliss!! Tomorrow will be the first day we have had off together where one of us isnt taking off somewhere. A whole day together ... wow!! All my christmases at once lol.
We got a horrid bill from my computer lease place charging us $325 to fix up my computer. I saw red and wrote them a nasty email to tell them how unhappy I was that I was being charged. After all this computer is only a few months old and it's still not working right even now. I got a phone call the next day to see if they could sort the final problems out. Basically I am disputing that it is a software/virus problem (like they claim) and I'm saying it's a faulty hardrive which is covered under my warranty. But all along they have refused to admit a faulty hardrive. After going over the problems AGAIN on the phone to them the guy goes silent and asks if he can call me back in 10mins. After I get his call back he finally admits that infact it could be a faulty hardrive and for me to send it up to them (again for the THIRD TIME!) and they will send it away to be tested. Finally someone is actually listening to me and I might actually get this computer sorted and working properly!! Took long enough!
Eating??? hmmm ... not bad.. not good. No bad binges or anything but can't say I've been extra good either tho.
Congrats to Leigh ... what a fantastic weightloss this week!!! 1.8kg!! Well done girl!
That's about all for now

Complaining for nothing again ... lol
Very embarrased to say I had a 100g loss at weigh in yesterday after all my complaining about my expected gain... lol. But very happy tho :)
Bill had his first day at his new job yesterday. He said it went well but also turned up after work a very stressed puppy! He drove in in his new Mitsubishi challenger ... wow so nice and sparkling new :) So we spent the rest of the evening taking everyone for drives in it ... mum, dad, my brother, cousin, his wife, my sister and her husband! lol
So nice to have the kids sitting comfortably in the back with even a spare seat. They are used to having 4 kids squashed in the back (including a car seat!). They have done a really good job putting in the extra seats in the back with them matching exactly to the other seats.
I've added the heading/link for the latest update on my front page. Let me know if the link doesn't work properly but I think I have it right.
Make this a short update, this computer has crashed on my twice while trying to do this update (making me retype it all ... I hate that!!)
Catchas later!

It's normal so don't punish yourself
Just been reading everyone's journals this morning and it seems everyone is finding it hard to lose weight at the moment. Don't worry about it! The fact that we are all finding it hard to lose with all the christmas rush, stress and parties shows that it's just that time of year. I too am finding motivation not happening lately. But in the new year it will be reinspiring to get back into it 100% again. The numbers in our ww meeting has dropped heaps and my leader says this is normal for this time of year. Funny how everyone finds the same thing. So don't be hard on yourself if it's not happening for you at the moment. Just plod on doing the best you can, knowing when the new year turns over we can all get back to it.
Not much else to tell today. Had real cravings last night, just couldn't eat enough to satisfy me, so probably went over my points. Once I weigh in tommorow, find out my gain I can put it behind me and get on with the next week with a clean slate.
Bill starts his new job tomorrow. We are both really excited about it. The main thing being he will only be working one late night and the rest finishing at 5pm. Huge luxury for us!! At the moment he is working 3 late nights (finishing at 10.30pm, getting home just before midnight. Then leaving at 6am the next morning). We also get our new car ... wahooo!! Which means I get a car to use down here. For the last 4mths I have been stuck down here without a car. Have been feeling really trapped. Will be nice to have the freedom again.

I'm back finally!
I finally have my computer back again and working properly. They managed to save all my files ... LUCKY!
Went up to Auckland last night for Bills work christmas function. Had loads of fun but went way over my points ... whoops. We had a really good time. Ended up staying in a B&B in Manukau. I was a little uneasy at first being in someone elses home but it worked out really well. Better security for our car and having someone to chat to at breakfast was nice.
Got loads of comments from everyone at the work do about how great I was looking. I kinda forget now that I used to be fat lol. Felt nice to have all the compliments :)
The christmas party finished at midnight and we decided to tag along with some friends to a kareoke bar. But it was a bit hairy with the type of people there so Bill and I got a taxi home instead. By this time it was 2am!! It's been a long time since I've been up that late and especially out doing the club thing ... didn't enjoy that part as much as I used to in my younger days. Geez I must be getting old lol.
It was great having a nite off from my wonderful children too. They spent the night with my sister. I tried to have a sleep in this morning but I'm in such a habit of waking up early I just couldn't do it. Still 8am is a record for me :)
This time away might have an effect on my weigh in on Monday. I deserve whatever happens but hey I had fun anyway lol.
Had an email from a reader to ask if I can put a 'latest updated' notice on my front page. I will try and do this but not sure how it will go given that the website I use for the other parts of my website is horrible, slow and often down. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Haven't got time to sort it at the moment but will try and organise it in the next few days. Another option if it doesn't work out is for you guys to put this page in your favourites list rather than my front page that way you bypass my front page and come straight here. You can still get to the rest of my website by hitting the buttons below... but I'll try the otherway first. Anything to make my site more user friendly has got to be a good thing.
Went and had a look at the house this morning on my way home. They are up to painting the arcitraves (sp) and ceiling... and the pavers have been laid on the outside. Was a bit nervous at first of the brightness in colour of them. (they are a terracotta colour) but I know they will fade in time so not too worried. Sorry I haven't got any updated pics yet.
Better get dinner on given it's 6.15pm already!!

Happy chappy!! :)
Another 700g bites the dust!! Happy camper I am :) I think the biggest success to celebrate is the fact that this week I underwent stress more than I have had in a long time and a 2day weekend away, out to dinner, drinks, socialising... yet was still able to have a loss. A year ago my decision would have been not to go or not to be on diet. I would have never thought that I could have both ... healthy eating and a life!
Although I was really upset about my decision to close the business the other day ... today I am much more at peace about it ... actually starting to look forward to it. It helps with the workload now knowing there is an end to it.
Fitted my butt into a new pair of sexy pants on Friday last week. Told myself I would only buy a new pair if I could fit into a size 12. That wasn't to be but liked the look of these new ones anyhow ... so what the heck ... size 12 will have to wait till next time ... size 14 still looked great! lol. Felt so amazing to be the star of the show when we went out that night with people commenting to Bill how amazing I looked (after I left of course lol). I felt so much more confident. Was talking to everyone like I didn't have a care in the world. A year ago I would have sat in the back corner hiding behind my glass, arms folded (legs not folded because they were to fat to lol) and glaring at everyone wondering why no one would talk to me. Now it's a totally different story... I'm the one who starts the conversation and suddenly I have lots of people to talk to. FANTASTIC!! Wasn't till this last week that I realised how much I have actually changed.
My computer is still down. Sent it back to Auckland to be looked at today. But it's given me a good reason not to be working and have a breather.
Leigh you have really inspired me to get back into exercise again. I keep saying that lol ... I guess I just gotta do it!

It's over ... I've had enough
I did a big entry last night telling you all about the wonderful two days we spent away in Auckland. It was fantastic!! Then just as I was finishing my computer crashed and I lost the lot. Then when I tried to reboot I couldnt. My computer has totally lost it again. I am currently on my brothers computer to update you guys on whats happening but doesnt look like my computer will be up again anytime soon. I have to take it back to Auckland on Monday to see what they can do. I am so tired of computer problems. I've decided I can't take the stress of the business anymore and have chosen to close it down. It has been a huge struggle for me to come to this decision. I've spent the last 5 yrs building it up to where it is now. And it has the reputation within the wedding industry now of being the best there is. I have been recommended to clients from the top NZ dress designers and photographers. It's a huge saddness to actually close it down because not only has it been my pride and joy for the last 5yrs but has given us the financial ability to have this computer. But it has gone beyond what I wanted for the family. I am continually stressed about it and my family and homelife is suffering because of it.
We are not in the position where we need the business now. We can quite easily survive on Bill's income alone and I want to be just a mum for a while (while the kids are still young). I'm really burnt out and need a break.
I still have plans on creative things I want to do in the near future but for now it's a close of an era... a sad time for me but it has to be done.
The computer hassles have been the final straw for me. Don't worry I'm not disapearing and will continue my weightloss site as normal. I couldnt be without u guys :) Just not coping very well at the moment... trying hard not to comfort eat.
Might not be able to update again till after my computer is fixed whenever that is. I just want to chuck it out the window at the moment.
Ahhh well such is life. Off to check out the other journalers sites hopefully that will inspire me to cheer up.

Computer strike
Boy have I had a stressful few days!! On Saturday night in the middle of printing a big 500 item job my computer decided to roll over and DIE!! I figured maybe it was overworked and it probably deserved a few hours off, so left it alone for a bit to cool down (I certainly needed to cool down by now too lol)
But a few hours later and it was no better. Kept giving me an "unmountable boot volume" error and wouldn't even get to the start up screen. I thought ok I can handle this, I'll get my cousin over here first thing Monday to look at it. But even with a few phone calls to a friend (even more expertise than him) I was told my hard drive was f***** (excuse my french). This meant all my work for the last 5 yrs was gone, including the jobs I was working on and due out NOW!! I was really freaking out by this stage. I rang the computer lease place in Auckland to see what they said. Basically they didn't hold much hope for it but to bring it up anyway for them to have a look at.
Cut a long story short ... 2hrs later and alot of ups and downs ... they saved her!! With all files intact!! I tell ya, I could have hugged that guy! I've never been so appreciative of normal life with a normal working computer!! lol
So consequently didn't make it to weigh in yesterday. Will have to wait till next week to see my good results on the scales. I told myself it could have been a bad eating week I couldnt make it to weigh in not a good week ... heheh.
I've got an extension on this job till Thursday. (sounds like I'm a naughty school girl who lost her homework! lol)
Got another pic of the house today ... inside kitchen shot. Went to see it yesterday while I was in Auckland... and fell in love with the kitchen. The colours have turned out far better than I imagined. Kept walking round going "wow, wow, wow". Was a highlight of the day (I've put the pic in the album for you to see).
Came down with a migrane on the way home (around 10.30pm after seeing the last client). Think it was a combination of all the driving and the stress of the last couple of days. By the time I got home I was in tears. I could hardly open my eyes. Walked in the door and flopped into bed. I don't know how Bill does it, driving to Auckland and back each day. Well not long to go now (10wks or so)
I'll go put the kitchen house pic up for you now.

snapped under the pressure
Totally cracked stresswise last night. Had a client ring saying they wanted more changes to a sample I had done and we are already running close to deadline. That along with the job I am running late with now meant I blew it! I don't normally consider myself a comfort eater but last night I certainly was.
So I helped myself to a second helping of dinner (meatloaf, not exactly low fat!) then a big bowl of chocolate icecream (lowfat at least) and a ww choc bar. I didn't work the points out ... didn't really want to but dinner and dessert alone was at least 18pts. Oh well, it's one bad day and I have put it behind me today and got back on track.
Have another house pic in my photo album (under new house album) and I have also included a couple of pics of our new car we are getting (under general photos album).
Not much else to tell ... stress levels are still pretty high today and will be until I get this job finished on Sunday.

Life cycles
Had a slim day today. Woke up feeling like a sexy slim thing :) Isn't it funny how some days our body feels fat yet other days we feel slim? I'm presuming it's my TOM fluid disappearing.
Been 100% on track the last two days. Hasn't been too much of a problem keeping to the 20pts (so far) Although I am really motivated at the moment so might be a little tougher when that drops.
Thanks to those who sent me their congrats!! You guys are awesome!! But honestly I haven't done anything amazing ... just stuck at it ... that's all it takes. I haven't been one of those 1kg a week people ... have had my ups and downs like everyone else ... but I have just kept at it. If I've had a bad week I just put it behind me and think that at the end when I get to goal I won't even remember those gains. I know it feels like the whole world has caved in and I may as well give up when I have a gain ... but that's so not true. We just gotta keep plodding on!!
Bill's boss had been looking out for a second hand Mitsubishi Challenger for us. He came back to Bill the other day and said he couldn't find a good enough one with low enough km's for the price he wanted to pay. So instead he's going to lease one, that means we get it BRAND NEW!!! Wahooo!! We've never had a brand new car before (let alone a Challenger!) We got to choose the colour today. I've really feel so spoilt this year. It just keeps getting better and better. We have had our years of struggling. At times we couldn't afford even to buy food and had rent payments bouncing. I remember one night we had to go out fishing to catch our dinner because we only had 3 potatos in the cupboard and when I tried to cook them up they had blite (sp) all through them. It was cold, wet and not the ideal night for fishing. But we packed the kids up in the car (around 8pm) and set out to find an estuary to put our lines in. 2 hours later we still hadn't caught anything and by now the kids were crying, we were hungry and now cold. We went back home with our tails between our legs. It took all the humbleness we could muster to ring a charity organisation to get a food parcel. I had never ever asked for food before and I felt so ashamed doing it. But it fed us that night and I grew so much through the experience.
Life is full of ups and downs and everything we go through adds to our life experiences. I'm just so grateful for blessings we have had this year.
On that note, I better get these kids fed and ready for bed.
Take care,
Lyn :)

I made it!!! :))
I have done it!!! I am officially a 70's girl!!!! Yeeee Haaaa!!! :)) I was so surprised when the weigher told me my weight, I was really expecting a gain. I'd been a good girl all week but had that 'bloated' feeling with TOM here. So I'm a very happy girl right now! :)
Along with meeting this goal I have to drop down another 2pts a day down to 20 from 22. I'm a bit nervous about how I'm going to cope with this. It should be great for my weightloss if I can do it. I usually use up all my points with none to spare. It's all good tho.
Work is crazy this week. I have 500 cards to have out by Friday!! It's kinda plagueing my brain. I don't really enjoy this time of year ... just tooo busy and stressful.
On that note I'd better get back to it. Skipping a happy dance today tho!! lol

the bricks are up!! :)
No news to tell you today. Just a quick update to let you all know that the lack of updates is not because I've been naughty (just the opposite ... yay me! lol) but from the crazy amount of work I have on at the moment (typical summer wedding season). I've been working till 10pm most nights and I'm exhausted!! But can't complain tho.
Have a new house pic for you all to see. The bricks are going up ... wahoooooo!!! I am so happy with the result of our final choice. We had to choose them 3 times... the first time we saw the chosen brick on another house and hated it, rushed back to the builders to tell them we had changed our minds. The second choice they told us a month later that it had be discontinued and finally our third choice, but I'm much happier with this one than any of the others.
We had 'lock up' on our house this week ... with all the doors and garage door installed and completed ... yay!! Off up to Auckland tommorow to see it again!! Can't wait!
Karen, so sorry to hear about Stephan. Hope his tests sort something out for you fast! Jo ... have a fantastic time away!! (i'm green with envy lol). Leigh, I know how horrible it feels with leaking rooves, ours leaked in our last home ... scary stuff!! And don't feel guilty, your boss will get over it. Lynda ... well you just rock!! You stick at it still ... my inspiration!! Your graph looks fantastic!! Shows up all your hard work :)

could have been worse
The celebrations last week showed themselves up on the scales at weighin (as expected) with a 100g gain. Could have been worse. I knew I had gained this week. I'm bummed with myself for slipping up already but figure 100g is nothing to worry about. Back on track today.
Had a really stressful busy day with business work. Feeling snowed under again. Have to admit I didn't track today, mostly because I just got too busy. But I ate well all day.
I had a look at the house yesterday and it was so exciting. The most excited I've been yet... all the Gib was up on the internal walls. I could really get a feel for the space in each room now. The family room is far bigger than I imagined, while the dining/lounge was smaller. It really feels like a HOUSE now lol. Before it just felt like a project with some framing and a roof, now I can visualise where furniture will go and how it will all look.
There is a lady from my Auckland ww meeting who has moved in 2 doors down from our new house, so I called by her place to have a chat (and a sneak preview of her lovely new home). It's really cool to know someone in the street before we even move in. They are an amazing couple!! All makes the process of moving into a new location alot easier. They said they love the street, that everyone is really friendly... yay!!
Came home all buzzed, to a house full of negativity (at my parents house now ours) Was such a downer ... I hate that! But not letting my parents get to me this time.
Sorry haven't updated my frontpage yet ... it's getting late and I'm pretty tired. Hopefully get a chance to do it tomorrow.

And the saga continues! :)
Bill got a call from another Pak'n Save owner yesterday asking to see him urgently before he signed the other contract.
So he rushed off to see him after work last night, curious about the details. He was offered a store managers position for one of the 5 biggest Pak 'n Save stores in the country!! He offered Bill $5,000 more again than the job he had just set up along with a company car. But it came with no bonuses and a preassigned company car (not one of our choice). It also meant he would have to commute 1hr each way daily (unless we sold our new house and relocated) But we both felt that $5,000 more wasn't worth that.
So he turned it down. It is such a political decision too. With wanting to own our own store eventually we don't want to get in the bad books of the wrong person, especially if that person has a lot of sway within the company. But overall we both feel we have done the right thing. Pretty overwhelming tho!!
I went off to the craft show this morning with 4kids and a pushchair in tow. Stressful! lol But I survived!
Mum said to me the other day "wow look at you ... all slim!" Huge compliment coming from her! Don't get them too often :)
Off to a BBQ at my sisters tonight, hopefully it won't be too high in points.
Managed to save 4 points yesterday (to make up for my alcoholic splurges at the start of the week)
So far I'm back on track for the week (points wise)

working back points
You guys are so right ... sometimes we need to be able to celebrate without feeling guilty. I guess it's so inbuilt into our society that it's hard to break.
It all seems a little unreal still. The best part ... Bill becomes a store manager. He is wanting to go through a scholarship scheme and hopefully finance ourselves into our own supermarket ... that's the long term plan. But he needed to be able to train in a New World (that's what we are looking at purchasing). We were looking at him working volantary and going back on the dole while he did his training, but now we don't have to worry about that because he can do his scholarship training at this New World. Next step in the big plan is to clear as much of our mortgage as possible so we can use the capital gain and equity in our home as part finance for our supermarket. But shhhh don't tell anyone ... it's a big secret lol :) (j/k)
The new jeans I got a few weeks ago and starting to feel a little lose on me but I'm not sure if it's from weightloss or them just stretching and losing that 'new jeans tightness'. But hey I'll say it's weightloss lol, works for me!
A big thankyou to all those who have passed on their congrats to me lately!! You guys all rock! Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!! :) No message goes unnoticed.
Eating has been good today but I haven't had dinner yet. That's usually when I stuff up, or when Bill brings home the alcohol. Mostly I'm good and resist but every now and then when I'm tired, stressed or feeling like a wind down then I give in. I know this is fine every now and then but lately it's been more now than then lol. I never drink a lot tho (usually only 3-4 glasses at the most) so I think that's how I've managed to still get a way with it... and the fact that I save my points up either before or after to work it back. That's what I love about ww, you can stuff up and not have to give up.
That's about all that's happening today, pretty boring, no new jobs lol
Oh before I forget ... new house pic has gone up
Cheers,
Lyn :)

Celebration time!!
Bill has taken the job. He ended up being offered $10,000 more than our bottom dollar including a company car. He starts on 15th December. This also means we no longer need to pay for petrol. Of which we are currently paying over $150 per week.
GREAT NEWS!!
Only problem with all this ... I am celebrating too much ... too much wine!! Can't do much about it now except try and work a few points back when I can.
Bill brought home a bottle of peach shnapps, champaign and strawberries tonight .... yummm!!! But very bad, bad, bad! :)
Not much else to tell.

Job interview went really well
Considering I've such a little amount of sleep I'm feeling rather positive today. Bill got home from work around midnight last night and we were both buzzing so much about his interview that we talked for another 1.5hrs. His job interview went really well. The original package he offered was a little low but after Bill told him what he was currently on the guy seemed very keen to see what he could do and is getting back to us sometime this morning. The package includes a 7 seater 4WD company car so that's a huge saving, considering we were going to buy a car in the new year anyway (our current one only fits 5 people and we have 4 kids) Not quite a done deal yet but looks really good. And the best thing ... he goes back to having Sat/Sun weekends!! For a long time Bill has been on a Mon/Tues weekend which has its benefits but means he can't spend as much time with the kids.
My eating was spectacular yesterday ... I even managed to save 2pts!! Bill came home with a bottle of wine to celebrate last night and I thanked him for it but said no. I sat and chatted with him while he got mildly inebriated (sp) instead... lol... good on him tho ... he deserves it. Bill works very hard at his job and is very good at what he does (for those who don't know he is a grocery manager at a Pak 'n Save Supermarket, with this new job being Store Manager). This new guy had done his research on Bill (ringing all his past bosses as well has Foodstuffs headoffice) and knew all about him. There was a lot of positive things said about him by everyone ... so a nice head sweller for him.
Got another couple of busy days ahead with 113 invites to have out by the end of tomorrow. Better get back to it.

Great news at weigh in!!
WAHOO!! GUESS WHAT??? I lost 700g this week!!! That is the most I have lost in a veeeery long time ... and I deserved it too lol. I'm wrapped!! Yay, yay, yay!!!
That makes two losses in two weeks ... wahooo! It brings my weight down to 80.4kg so only 500g to go to be my 70's girl. And only 500g to go before I have to drop 2 points a day ... not looking forward to that part lol. I don't know how people survive on 18points ... I've kinda gotten used to my 22pts and grown attached to them lol.
Called by to see the house yesterday ... it's looking really good (sorry no update photo yet ... next few days hopefully). All the windows are in and they've finished the roof on the first storey too. As I was leaving I noticed the door had arrived and took a sneaky peak at it ... to my shock it was the wrong colour!! We had ordered denim blue (the same colour as the roof) but this one was cream. I was so disappointed it overshadowed all my excitement of seeing the house and even my weigh in loss.
So this morning I made Bill get onto the phone to the builders at 9am sharp (I was too scared lol). The receptionist said that they were all in meetings all day and that we would have to ring back tommorow. I was so annoyed!! By that time they would have hung the door and it might be too late to do anything. Then she rang back a few minutes later to say that it hadn't been painted yet and that the cream was the primer coat ... doh!!! I had to eat my words lol. Big stress out for nothing!! lol
Bill is at a job interview as I type this. He got headhunted by an owner of a New World a few days ago for a Store Manager's position. And it is 2mins drive down the road from our new house. Bill has been wanting a store managers position for quite a bit but we thought we were going to have to move out of Auckland to get it. We just have to wait to see what he offers in pay first.
Congrats to Diane who got her 10% medal!! wahoo .. go girl!! Not far to go now :)
Work is going crazy again. I hate it when I have too much work on and it starts piling up around me. I get overwhelmed with it all. Gotta rush off, pick kids up from school and get my paper order from the wholesalers.
I'll keep you posted about Bill's job :)

email someone to say something nice
I just had the coolest email from a ww leader who showed my website before and after pics to her 4 meetings this week. And this is the messages they sent me ...
"You inspire us!
We're proud of you!
Congratulations, you are doing so well!
Don't worry if your weight loss slows down, remember you are still well ahead of target!
We are looking forward to seeing a picture of the 70s gal in your new gym gear!
Keep going!
You are already a success!
We'll be watching you!
Every time you update your website, stop and listen and you will hear our virtual cheers, cheering you on!"
Is the the coolest or what?? I was gobsmacked! People are so cool. It really makes me think every time I think something encouraging about someone else I should tell them. Thoughts pass so quickly but such a small thing can make such a possitive difference to someone else.
I've tried really hard this week staying on track. I had a few drinks with some friends the other night but didn't go overboard and managed to stay within points (using some saved ones). The guys got hungry around midnight and decided to cook up some fatty mutton chops. They smelt so yummy but resisted and microwaved some popcorn instead for us girls ... another proud moment :)
Went out and mowed the lawn for 1.5hrs this afternoon. Worked really hard and earnt lots of points I'm sure.
Weigh in tomorrow. Feeling positive about it but not holding my breath either. Big day tomorrow with 2 consultations on in Central Auckland.
Not much else to tell,
Catcha all Tuesday with weigh in results
Cheers,
Lyn :)

Ta Daaaaa!!!!
Wow I can't believe I have made it this far ... I have made it to the point of wearing a bikini on the beach!!!!!!
I have spent the last two days body surfing in the waves with the kids and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! It's been 15yrs since I last went body surfing. I'd forgotten how good it felt!
Lucky we live here because I'd never go back home otherwise! Heheh!!
Wow ... I made it!!!

Feeling really goood!!
Whoops sorry I forgot to upload the new pic of the house. Have done it now ... so go check it out in my photo album if you want.
I am so back on track now it's not funny!! lol Getting the points calculator did the trick. I have always found tracking one of the hardest things of the program (ohh not counting water .. I find that hard too) yet I know without it there is no way for me to stay focused and in control of what I eat. I guess I find it tedious and boring and I just get so busy that I eat on the run and forget to write it down or just don't get time to write it all down.
But the points calculator is so simple and quick. 2 seconds and it's all done and did I mention how I JUST LOVE GIMMICKS!!! lol Because I have to enter in my points I'm finding I'm being more acurate with myself in regards to portion sizes too.
It's great to feel so in control again!
I wore a top out yesterday that hugged my waistline and chest. I felt sooo sexy lol. Not that I wanted to show myself off or get any further attention but I just felt like I was king pin!! (or should I say queen pin ... hehe) I noticed too that the guys I deal with at the paper wholesaler treated me with more respect and interest lol. Normally they don't give the time of day to me... they're not rude but just ho-humm ... but not yesterday when I looked damn fine ... they were all chatty and smiley. It could be a coincedence but hey it worked for me :)
A few months back I emailed weight watchers to see if they wanted to link my site to their journal page, but I never heard anything back from them so forgot all about it. But yesterday out of the blue I got an email from them asking if I was still interested ... Heck yeah!! I replied lol. I don't know why it means so much to have people read this ... I guess I know how much other journal sites helped me stay focused before I started this one and knowing you guys are there 'keeping an eye on me' makes sure I stay on track, so it goes both ways. A couple of times when I've been feeling down or gone off track for a few days some of you have emailed me to see what has been going on and it has done the trick each time (thankyou guys!!! It means so much) Before I know it I have logged on ... done an update (even if it is a confession one) and then I'm focused again to carry on my day. And with reading how the other journalers on here are doing in their day makes me think ... wow they can do it .. so can I!!
I really want to thankyou guys for sticking it out with me. This place has become a little negative the last few months with the hard patch I was going through but I feel like another chapter has started. I feel more in control, more content and happy with myself.
Could be due to the warmer weather. It's amazing how some sunshine lifts the spirits so much! And also to the fact that Bill is commuting daily back from Auckland so I'm not so lonely and sad all the time. I really don't know how I lasted 6wks without him! Ok that's enough of the soppy stuff lol! It hasn't actually cost us anymore for him to travel down here daily. The extra petrol we spend now is counteracted by the board he no longer has to pay. Why didn't we think of that originally lol ... oh well ... made me appreciate having him around again :)
A week or so ago Bill got given a whole lot of nappies and toilet paper from a rep at his work. They were all damaged packaging but perfectly fine. We got around 30 packets of nappies and 8 packets of toilet paper!! I was spending $25 a week on nappies so that has meant such a lot to our grocery bill. I still spent the same amount as I normally do yesterday at the supermarket but I was able to buy so much more. Normally by the end of the fortnight I have nothing left in the cupboards but yesterdays shop totally filled it and I was able to get those yummy low point rewards that keep me so motivated (like RIX chips ... my fav!!)
Anyway I've blabbed on enough today ... ohh one other thing ... I have just fixed my computer!!! I thought my Windows XP was corrupt and I was going to have to reinstall it along with reinstalling all my software. But it turns out (through trial and error) that it was just my personal profile settings that were corrupt. So I created a new user and a new profile and all my email/desktop problems were fixed!!! Yay that saved me a whole lot of time and expense!! Big relief!!
Ok ok I've talked enough today. Have a great day!!!!

Feels great!!!
It feels fantastic to finally have a great weigh in result. Feels like it's been months since i felt proud of my efforts. I am so close to my next goal of becoming a 70's girl I can almost smell it ... only 1.2kg to go.
I rewarded myself with a points calculator. There were on special this week at ww. $49.95 reduced to $19.95 .... what a bargain!! It will make the chore of tracking much easier and simpler. Does mean tho that I won't be writing it up on here, instead I just put the number of points into the calculator. I feel like it will stop me from 'cheating' too. Not that I lie on here but I'm sure at times I think ... nahh that's too high for that, I'll just put it down as 1 point less. I know I'm not the only person that does this. I'm only fooling myself tho. I just love gimick toys :)
So good to see Leigh back online!! Way to go Leigh ... with you all the way!!
Bill really enjoyed his weekend away. He caught up with my brother and his wife while there. Glad to have him back home again tho!!
He put on a few kgs while there too (hehe) Putting him at 82kg ... I am for now lighter than him again lol.
I'll have another photo update of the house tomorrow. Not much else has been done.
Catcha tomorrow

Back online again ... finally!
I'm back on board again. I'm ready to chuck this new computer out the window!!! I think I must have had a power surge one night and it wiped my whole computer!! (well almost everything) At first I thought it must have been a virus but after getting another brand new Nortons disk (the old one I had was a downloaded virsion, therefore I lost it) but no virus was found. Really don't want to send it to be fixed (apart from the $60per hr cost) they will need to reformate it to fix it and then I will lose what little I still have on here.
The reason I think it was a power surge... we are at the end of a line for our power here and we often have the lights dimming on and off. I'm sure that's what's done it. It only started playing up when we shifted here. Be interesting to see if it improves when we shift back to Auckland.
So anyway I have only got my internet connection back up and running today (hence for the lack of updates)
I've been doing pretty good eating wise the last week. Although I noticed my tracking has been slowing a little the last few days with the computer problems and work stress. But overall I've been a good girl.
Bill is currently in Sydney for his World Cup weekend... lucky bugger!! lol.
He told me last week he had a surprise to show me. He got given a leather wallet thing with all his travel documents in etc. And he wouldn't show it to me till after dinner when he could 'present' it to me. I was sooo sure he was going to surprise me with an airline ticket for me to go too. I had a smile a mile wide. He dragged it right out till the end ... but no surprise tickets ... lmao! His surprise was a 'that's life' magazine... still great ... but a bit of a downer after expecting an airline ticket lol!! Oh well :)
Not much else has happened this week. No weighin last Monday with Labour day. Hoping for a loss this week with all my hard work and good eating. Not holding my breath tho ... my body tends to do strange things lately.
Thanks to all those who sent me compliments on my photo. Way cool!! I honestly can't see where 10kg has come off since the last photo ... hmmm ... it's definately gone tho.
Catcha all later
